This 4-day 50+hour course (a total of 100+hours with the required field work) is taught by the international instructor Dianne Jenkins EBW JENT. It is specifically designed to cater for both professional students: veterinarians, physical therapists, human massage therapists, equine massage therapists, chiropractors & dentists, as well as horse owners, trainers and barn managers who would like to broaden their skills of first aid and to support their horses’ health. The course is taught in such a comprehensive logical layered format, that those with little or no complementary equine care and science background will find themselves up to speed with the other professional participants.
After completing the training program and required externship, the student will be able to evaluate posture, movement and the general state of a horse’s health, and apply acupoint stimulation confidently. Fieldwork/externship is required in all of Equinology’s courses to ensure the students have learned the enormous amount of material presented in class. Equinology’s reputation stands tall due to the fact we test our students before issuing certificates. This course is a prerequisite for participating in the Jenkins Equine Neurophysiologic Therapy Course.
