Stirling Estate Equestrian Centre(map) PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE & DATE/TIME FOR THIS EVENT. JENT is an exciting system of improving horse health and performance with new discoveries backed up by research. The JENT presentations are a unique opportunity to learn about the most modern bodywork methods available. The presentation covers structural vs postural conformation with emphasis on performance horses, evaluation of musculature asymmetry and how this reflects in the movement and performance, a demonstration of the benefits and use of redlight therapy, identification and correction of Dianne's discoveries of predictable patterns of fascial distortions that are alarmingly common, modern measures in saddle fit and strategies for progression and improvement. The presentation reveals new information in: - Assessing and evaluating a horse's conformation :: dividing skeletal - that determines strengths and limitations (which we cannot change) and musculature and postural (that which we can change). We watch a reasonably well moving horse work under saddle, and evaluate how it is going (Dianne's experience as a trainer, coach and judge come in here to show what She looks for during a consultation). Dianne talks the rider through different tasks to explain the common issues that arise.
- Dianne then puts markers on the rider, saddle and horse to indicate where and when either is out of balance
- Following this, Dianne strips the horse of rider and saddle, identifies it's symmetry, then talks about the saddle fit and strategies to get the horse balanced.
- The horse is palpated to identify any sore or tender areas and positive reactions to reflex tests reveal low grade joint problems before anything shows up in a Vet consult.
- Dianne uses a Red Light Torch on the essential points and palpates again - showing how the horse now cannot hide anything.
- Dianne will explain what is causing all the issues and explains the techniques of JENT
- Dianne will also provide details of courses for people to attend both at the owner and practitioner level.
Entry is by gold coin donation to RDA and will be collected at the door.
